All bier served at KC Oktoberfest is fresh, authentic German-style bier brewed by Kansas City Bier Company. Since opening in 2014, we have pursued a simple mission: to brew authentic-tasting German-style bier with the same character, flavor and freshness as the bier brewed and consumed in Germany.
We accomplish this by following the basic tenets of the Bavarian Beer Purity Law of 1516 (Reinheitsgebot), brewing only with water, yeast, and 100% imported German malt and hops, and using traditional German recipes and brewing processes including decoction mashing, two-tank fermentation and conditioning, long, cold lagering and natural carbonation.
